The Hopeless Bystander Effect
This entire corona situation has revealed to many the real inner character of the populace. We have seen great weakness as well as strength. We have to understand that there is a large contingent of individuals that are simply waiting to see which way the wind blows. Morals and facts be damned. They want to be on the winning side, even if it is the wrong side.
I’ve talked to so many that keep saying that they will wait and see. They can already foresee that things are going in the wrong direction with vaccine passports and forced inoculations, and yet they stand there muttering to themselves like a demented mental patient simply hoping things will be good.
The scariest aspect of this entire ordeal is that if some of these people simply comprehended that their inactivity and hopelessness is a key driver in what is occurring today. They in reality have so much power and strength to change the direction of where the world is going, and yet they refuse to acknowledge this very obvious fact.
The questions I have for those still waiting to see what happens, is what is the alternative? Is it better to wait around until all hope is lost and the shots become mandatory? Is it not better to fight for one’s ideals, though the road is tough?
Be the change you want to see in the road. This applies to all things whether they are large or small. Despair is a useless emotion for the individual, and the key emotion for those that seek to control you.
